Each year we add new players and current players go on to achieve their dreams. Below is a list of notable Boyd Football Alumni who have worked hard to obtain their goals and still going.

Oklahoma Coaches Association 1st Team All-State… District 6A1-1 Co-MVP… COAC Offensive Back of the Year… Norman North – Co-Offensive Player of the Year and Scholar Athlete of the Year… helped lead team to an 8-2 overall record and 6-1 mark in the toughest district in Oklahoma… in regular season action, completed 123 of 203 (61 percent) passes for 2,225 yards and 25 touchdowns and just five interceptions (all in the first three games)… rushed 108 times 660 yards to 10 touchdowns… recorded 2,885 total yards and 35 total TDs.

Creed

Humphrey

Humphrey attended Shawnee High Schoo lin Shawnee, Oklahoma. He played both center and defensive lineon the football team. Humphrey played in the 2017U.S. Army All-American Game. Humphrey was a highly-touted prospect, with a four-star rating from 247Sports. He was ranked 294th overall in his recruiting class, but was the 5th-best prospect from the State of Oklahoma and the 3rd-best center in the country. Humphrey received nineteen scholarship offers from programs like Alabama, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech. He initially committed to Texas A&M in June 2016 but decommitted two months later and signed a National Letter of Intent with The University of Oklahoma.

McKown

Compiled 1,003 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, 263 receiving yards and four receiving TDs in eight games as a senior in 2022 … helped Norman North High School to a 6A state quarterfinals appearance in 2021 and ’22 … named 2022 Class 6A-1 All-District 1 Running Back of the Year and Norman North’s most outstanding player of the year … finished junior season with 1,304 rushing yards and 156 receiving yards … received scholarship offers from Air Force, Army and Navy, among others.
